Cutting Triangular Cheese
Cutting Triangular Cheese – Triangular Cheese – Cheersonic
1. Hand Cutting
Tools Needed:
You will need a sharp knife, such as a stainless steel cheese knife or chef’s knife. This type of knife has good sharpness and flexibility, allowing you to cut the cheese smoothly. Also, prepare a ruler to measure and ensure the sides of the triangles meet the requirements.
Cutting Steps:
First, place the cheese on a clean, flat cutting board. If the cheese is large, you can cut it into strips of moderate width for easier handling. The width of each strip can be determined based on the number and size of the triangular cheese pieces you want.
Then, use a ruler to measure and mark the triangular shape on the cheese strips. For a triangle with two sides of 8.5cm and a base of 7.5cm, first determine the position of the base by lightly marking it with the knife. Then, measure 8.5cm upwards from each end of the base towards the center and mark these points. Connecting these marks gives you the outline of the triangle.
Finally, along the marked outline, cut vertically into the cheese with the knife, being careful to keep the knife stable and vertical to ensure the cut triangular cheese has three flat sides and a regular shape. 1. Cut the cheese:Apply appropriate pressure according to the cheese’s texture. For softer cheeses, use less pressure to avoid deformation; for harder cheeses, apply slightly more pressure.
2. Cut using a mold:
Mold making or selection:
You can make your own mold. Use a food-grade plastic or metal sheet (such as stainless steel) to create a triangular frame (8.5cm sides, 7.5cm base). Smooth the edges of the frame to avoid scratching the cheese. Alternatively, you can purchase a triangular cutting mold specifically designed for food processing.
Cutting steps:
Place the mold on the cheese surface and press down firmly, allowing the edge of the mold to cut into the cheese. If the cheese is hard, you may need to gently tap the mold with a small hammer to help it cut completely. For larger pieces of cheese, you can move the mold across the cheese surface and repeat the cutting process until you have the desired number of triangles. Using a mold ensures that the triangles are cut to a very standard shape and size.
3. Using specialized cutting equipment (such as a CNC cutting machine)
Equipment preparation and parameter settings: The CNC cutting machine needs to be programmed first. Input the dimensions of the triangle (two sides 8.5cm, base 7.5cm) and the cutting path. The cutting blades are generally circular saw blades or sharp blades; ensure the blades are clean and sharp.
Cutting steps: Fix the cheese on the CNC cutting machine’s worktable and start the machine. The cutter will automatically cut according to the preset program, quickly and accurately producing triangular cheese. This method is efficient and precise, suitable for large-scale production of triangular cheese. However, CNC cutting machines are expensive, and operation requires certain technical training.
About Cheersonic
Cheersonic manufactures the leading portioning equipment for bakeries producing fresh and frozen desserts. Since 1998 bakers have used Cheersonic machines to cut, slice and portion cheesecake, pie, layer cake, loaves, butter, cheese, pizza, sandwichs, and more. Cheersonic offers ultrasonic cutting solutions that support start-up bakeries and high production commercial facilities alike. Small standalone machines can be used in manual baking facilities and large inline robotic solutions aid in high speed production.
Cheersonic offers many ultrasonic slicing models, both inline and offline applications, with production speeds of 80 to 1,500 cakes or pies per hour.
Cheersonic’ latest offline introductions include ultrasonic cutting with or without divider inserts between each slice. This improves the quality of the cut and makes for a much better product presentation for the customer. In addition, robotic arm improves the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of the cutting process, producing professional looking products every time.
